If the world is flat (in an English sonnet)

If we can't live forever
Why don't we die at birth?
If we can't have the water
Then why do we have thirst?

If we are so unfree
Why do we even try?
If life is full of glee
Why do we still cry?

If we all want peace
Then why do we have war?
If deads are one to bliss
Why living anymore?

If the world is truly flat
How sad, then, can we get?
